Monarque est de retour avec son troisième album et sans doute son plus abouti à ce jour. Toujours cantonné dans le Black Metal occulte et classique, tout en rendant hommage aux débuts du mouvement symphonique ici et là, le groupe brille également par son côté mélancolique et épique qui lui a déjà gagné plusieurs fans dans le monde. Mettant également en scène une reprise furieuse de « Au Seuil des Ténèbres » des précurseurs du Black québécois Frozen Shadows, Lys Noir hantera ceux qui s’aventureront dans son univers lugubre. Cassette dorée limitée avec artwork "old school" photocopié recto-verso.

Monarque returns with his third full-length and without a doubt his most accomplished to date. Always remaining in the occult and classic side of Black Metal, while paying homage to the early symphonic movement here and there, the band also infuses its very distinctive epic and melancholic side that has earned it many fans worldwide. Here is our first non-metal release! It is a special alliance between Bête Lumineuse, an ambient/noise project from Montréal, and Neige Et Noirceur from Candiac. N&N is experimenting with a keyboard and percussions, while Bête Lumineuse evoke a more ethereal soundscape, spacey and noisy. This offering comes in a wax-sealed envelloppe with a sticker. Cette première demo du groupe de bestial black/death Cultemort puise son inspiration dans le satanisme traditionnel, ainsi que les grandes oeuvres d'horreur des années 60 à 90. Musicalement très primaire, les hymnes barbares du duo peuvent rappeler les Archgoat, vieux Mayhem, Beherit et Cultes des Ghoules, avec une touche atmosphérique bien personelle. Ce pressage est limité à 50 copies "maison", numérotées avec artwork en forme de cercueil.

This first offering from the bestial black/death band Cultemort draws it's inspiration from traditional satanism, as well as from classical horror works from the 1960s up to the 90s. Musically quite primal, the barbaric hymns of this duo shall appeal to maniacs of Archgoat, old Mayhem, Beherit and Cultes des Ghoules, yet with that personal atmospheric touch. This pressing is "home-made" and limited to 50 hand-numbered copies, with a coffin shaped artwork.
